Children’s Ministry: From 6 Weeks to Pre-K

 

We believe and we Know that Children are a precious gift, and introducing them to God’s love at an early age lays the foundation for a lifetime of faith. Our children’s ministry is dedicated to creating a nurturing and joyful environment where kids, from 6 weeks to pre-kindergarten, can grow in God’s love, explore His Word, and build relationships in a way that is age-appropriate and fun.

Our ministry exists to partner with families in raising children who know, love, and follow Jesus. We believe that spiritual formation begins early, and even the youngest children can experience God’s presence.

Age-Specific Ministry Breakdown

 

1. Infants (6 Weeks – 18 Months)

    •    Objective: Provide a safe and loving environment where infants are cared for with Christ-like love.

    •    What We Do:

    •    Gentle care by trained volunteers who sing, talk, and pray over the babies.

    •    Soft worship music and Bible-based lullabies.

    •    First exposure to simple Bible truths like “God loves you.”

 

2. Toddlers (18 Months – 2 Years)

    •    Objective: Introduce the love of Jesus through simple and fun activities.

    •    What We Do:

    •    Playtime with purpose—using toys, books, and sensory activities to engage toddlers in God’s creation.

    •    Repetitive Bible stories with big ideas like “Jesus is your friend.”

    •    Interactive music and movement to teach simple worship songs.

 

3. Preschool (Ages 3 – Pre-K)

    •    Objective: Begin teaching foundational biblical truths and building their understanding of God’s character.

    •    What We Do:

    •    Age-appropriate Bible lessons that emphasize God’s love, Jesus’ life, and our place in His family.

    •    Hands-on crafts and activities to reinforce Bible stories.

    •    Group prayer and early discipleship to encourage gratitude and kindness.

    •    Energetic worship with songs that include actions to make praise interactive and memorable.
